1/4 brown sugar
8 oz whiskey
2 dashes Angostura bitters
slice one banana and pour brown sugar over it. Caramelize with a kitchen torch. Put in
mason jar and cover completely with 8 oz. whiskey. Seal and store in a cool, dark place
for two weeks. When it’s ready pour two oz. over ice. Add bitters and stir. Garnish with a
caramelized orange disk.
Tip: When it’s ready it will taste like a bananas foster and will provide a full flavor across
the whole tongue. When it’s not ready you’ll feel a burn in the back of your tongue with a
sweet taste in the front. This disconnected taste lets you know it needs to infuse longer.
